ENGAGEMENT RINGS458 COMMISSIONED
Every ring we have made was drawn for one person and built once — so there is no catalogue to order from, only 458 finished examples to look through. Start where most people start: the shape of the stone.

- Floral235
- Side stones130
- Solitaire75
One stone on its own. The setting exists only to hold it up, so nothing competes with the stone — and nothing dates.
- Cathedral49
- Split shank26
- Gallery rail23
- Bezel22
A continuous rim of metal wrapped around the stone’s girdle instead of prongs. The most protective setting there is, and nothing catches on fabric.
- Hidden halo22
- Three stone12
A centre stone with a smaller one on each side, usually tapered so the eye runs inward. Often read as past, present and future.
- Halo11
A ring of small diamonds set tight around the centre stone. It adds a visible half-carat of spread without the carat price.
- Toi et moi6
French for “you and me”. Two stones sit side by side on one band — frequently two different shapes, one for each person.
- Cluster4
Several small stones set close enough to read as a single surface. More light per dollar than one stone of the same spread.
- Organic design3
- East west1
- Eternity1

The work that does not show in a silhouette: what is cut into the gallery, engraved on the shank, or hidden under the stone where only the wearer sees it.

How a commission works
- 01
Conversation
You send a shape, a budget, and any reference you have. A person in Los Angeles answers — usually the same day.
- 02
Drawing
Hand sketches first, then CAD. Revised as many times as it takes to be right.
- 03
Wax & approval
A physical model to try on before any metal is cut. Nothing is cast until you have held it.
- 04
Bench
Cast, set, engraved and finished here. Four to eight weeks, typically.
Commission
If one shape keeps pulling you back, send it to us with a budget. We will tell you honestly what it takes to build.
